Wooly McDuff`s in Laurinburg

Good food, good beer, good prices. Need I say more?

Wooly's is Laurinburg's answer to chain restaurants like Applebee's....except I consider Wooly's to be a cut above Applebee's. If the wife and I want to go somewhere nice and we are ready to spend $35-40 on dinner for two, going to Wooly's beats driving to Pinehurst any day.

Atmosphere and environment was warm and cozy. The restaurant was not too busy. We were greeted at the entrance with a friendly face and smile.Out waitress was polite and a little busy in her section with a big party. Everything was ok except I had to ask for refills on our drinks. For this reason I'm giving it a 4 instead of a 5.Food was cook to order, hot and salad was well prepared and of plentiful serving. I would recommend this place and would return.

Slower side getting food but it was worth the wait. Very good customer service

We celebrated our 49 th anniversary there . Our meal was perfect. The ribeyes were very tender and tasty. The baked potatoes very moist and cooked just right. We highly recommend the fine restaurant.

What a gem of a place to find! Very clean and relaxing environment. Had the wedge salad and it was huge w/real chunky blue cheese. Great drink specials too, and mixed right at the bar. We'll definitely be back!

Brought my husband here for his birthday and was blown away by the service and flavor of the food. We were seated near the bathroom and never smelled anything. Our waiter was amazing (Thank you Dylan!!) and the atmosphere was just right for a cozy birthday dinner. The portabella chicken has an awesome sauce and the chicken was juicy. I had a steak and the chef got it perfect! All around excellent experience!!

Prime Rib was cooked to perfection. Excellent cheese cake. Brussel Sprouts were slightly overcooked and underseasoned. Good service despite the huge crowd. 👍

Wooly's is about the only "nice" restaurant located in Laurinburg. They have a wide variety of food. It's bar food to steaks, great appetizers, fresh vegetables (including sliced home grown tomatoes, squash and asparagus, pastas, and great seafood. Nice atmosphere and friendly service. It is admirable that the manager goes around to greet people. You don't see that very often.

Waited for over an hour. Too hungry had to leave and get food. Water was good!!! Bread was ok. Won't return

Ate here 3 or 4 times a week while I was staying down the road. The bartender Allison is great and the food is delicious. Between the Philly cheesesteak, shrimp & grits, or the honey glazed pork chop you can't go wrong. The servers here know what they're doing and are very kind. Only wish they were open earlier, would've went there for lunch as well. 11/10

My husband and I have been here twice. The appetizers were better than the main dishes both times. The atmospheric music was loud and not appropriate for the patrons. Also our waitress was great at first but then was missing in action once our food was served. This place could be great with a few small improvements.

My sister and brother took my husband and I along with their families here for our birthday dinner party. The food was great as well as the service. Prices are reasonable too. We had a great time and they were able to seat nine of us with no reservations!! We had a great experience.

This was by far one of the best places to eat! My husband had a super delicious steak prepared as he requested. I had shrimp and they were fabulous. Our waitress, Jenna, was super attentive and kept our glasses full. Will stop to eat here next trip to Laurinburg! A+!!

If you want to wait for hours before food. Watch people come after you, eat, and leave before you get your food this is the place for you! If you want them to not ask you if you were watching the TV this is the place for you. Waitress got more than what she deserved. Trust me. Less than par. Didn't get my food so can't review that.

First time at this restaurant everyone was so sweet Alcohol was great food was the bomb could not ask for better food and service

I eat here every trip to Laurinburg. Always a friendly greeting at the door and the service is top notch every time. The food never dissappoints and the wine selection is very good. Wooly's is your laid back restaurant to enjoy yourself with your friends and always have an excellent meal.

Although they were a little backed upWe had great service. The food was delicious and not too pricey. The poor waitress had to keep apologizing for the kitchen issues. The bartender makes a great long island iced tea. And if you get there and the soup of the day is seafood bisque....order it. It was the best I have ever had

My wife and I went here for my birthday. We were seated in a timely manner. Waiter's name was Dylan. We had exceptional service. Even got a free dessert, thanks Dylan. I had the chicken portabello. The mushrooms and gravy were amazing.

The food was delicious! The NY Strip steak was cooked perfectly.

Good small town restaurant. Service was very friendly and polite. My prime rib was to order and good. Those are the fundamentals and they're good.The decor is a bit dated and the food is straightforward and simple, but none of that is necessarily a bad thing.

The food is amazing and made from scratch. The price is perfect for the quality of this food. You definitely do not go away hungry! The bread is to die for! I could just have a cocktail and eat bread and butter . Very good food and service!

I'm not sure why people told us not to go here, it was great! The drink pours were a bit on the light side (Scotch) but the food was great. You should expect to wait for a table as this place was packed on a Friday.
